Terms of Use
Free for students and teachers. Protected against commercial exploitation and AI training.

TL;DR — ORBITECH is free for students, teachers, and schools. Use it, learn from it, share it, print it. But don't sell it, don't scrape it, and don't use it to train AI models. That's the deal.
2 What you can do
✅ ALLOWED — The following uses are explicitly permitted and encouraged:
- ✓Learn — Read, study, and use any content for your personal education.
- ✓Share — Send articles to classmates, post links on social media, share with your community.
- ✓Print — Print any article for personal or classroom use. No limit.
- ✓Teach — Teachers and schools may use our content in classrooms, lesson plans, and educational materials.
- ✓Cite — Quote our content in academic work with proper attribution to ORBITECH AI Academy.
- ✓Translate — Translate our content into languages we don't yet cover, provided you credit ORBITECH AI Academy as the source.
3 What you cannot do
❌ PROHIBITED The following uses are strictly prohibited:
3.1. Commercial exploitation
- ✗Do not sell our content, in whole or in part, in any format (digital, print, course, app).
- ✗Do not repackage our content behind a paywall, subscription, or "premium" offering.
- ✗Do not monetize our content on platforms like YouTube, Medium, Substack, or any other platform without written permission.
- ✗Do not white-label our content as your own product or service.
3.2. AI training and data mining
This content may NOT be used to train, fine-tune, or evaluate artificial intelligence models, machine learning systems, large language models (LLMs), or any automated learning system.
- ✗No scraping — Automated collection of our content via bots, crawlers, spiders, or any automated means is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to: wget, curl scripts, Scrapy, Puppeteer, Selenium, or any custom scraping tool.
- ✗No dataset creation — Our content may not be included in any dataset, corpus, or training set for AI/ML purposes.
- ✗No fine-tuning — Our content may not be used to fine-tune, RLHF, DPO, or otherwise train any language model, image model, or multimodal model.
- ✗No embeddings — Our content may not be vectorized, embedded, or indexed in any retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) system for commercial purposes.
- ✗No synthetic data — Our content may not be used as seed data to generate synthetic training data.
This prohibition applies to all entities including but not limited to: OpenAI, Google, Meta, Anthropic, Mistral, Cohere, AI21, Stability AI, and any other AI company, startup, research lab, or individual.
We respect the AI community — we use AI tools ourselves. But our content was created for students, not for training models. If you want to discuss a partnership or licensing agreement, contact us.
3.3. Misrepresentation
- Do not claim authorship of our content. Always credit ORBITECH AI Academy.
- ✗Do not alter our content in ways that misrepresent the original meaning, especially for scientific, medical, or legal topics.
- ✗Do not use our brand name, logo, or identity to imply endorsement of any product or service.
4 Technical protections
We implement technical measures to protect our content:
- ⚙robots.txt — AI crawlers are explicitly blocked from scraping our educational content.
- ⚙Rate limiting — Excessive automated requests are throttled and blocked.
- ⚙Monitoring — We monitor access patterns and will take action against systematic scraping.
- ⚙Legal enforcement — We reserve the right to pursue legal action under applicable copyright laws, including the EU Copyright Directive (Article 4), the US DMCA, and the Berne Convention.
5 Content accuracy
Our content is created for educational purposes and is designed to be accurate and pedagogically sound. However:
- •We are not a substitute for official textbooks, curricula, or qualified teachers.
- •Content may contain errors or omissions. We encourage you to verify important information with official sources.
- •National curricula change. Our content may not always reflect the most recent program updates.
- •We do not guarantee exam results. Our content is a supplement, not a guarantee.
6 Advertising
We display non-intrusive advertisements to fund the platform. By using ORBITECH, you acknowledge that:
- •Ads are the sole source of revenue that keeps this platform free.
- •We do not control the content of third-party ads. If you see an inappropriate ad, report it to us.
- •Using ad blockers is your right. We won't restrict access if you use one.
7 Intellectual property
All content on ORBITECH AI Academy — including text, structure, design, code, and branding — is the intellectual property of ORBITECH AI Academy, protected under international copyright law.
The educational content is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), which means:
- BY You must credit ORBITECH AI Academy.
- NC You may not use it for commercial purposes.
- ND You may not distribute modified versions.
8 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France and the European Union. For international users, we also comply with:
- GDPR (EU) — Data protection
- COPPA (US) — Children's online privacy
- Berne Convention — International copyright
- EU Copyright Directive — Text and data mining restrictions
Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Lille, France.
9 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
